Client: The Philippine Art Gallery
The Project: The curators of the Philippine Art Gallery wanted to educate the world about the artists whose paintings they sell. While there are many well-known European artists, the Philippines has some amazing painters as well! Many were contemporaries of some of the European greats, and while they’re well known in the educated art scene, a series of small documentaries would help educate the general public.
We put together 17 videos, ranging 3-5 minutes in length, for the gallery. Narrated by art professor John Seed and featuring live-action interviews with Philippine art professor Dr. Marlo de Lara, they transport viewers into the world of these artists and show off their value to society as a whole.
